SSBM's Team of the Year for 2008 goes to Mark Weare and Millage Weare. What more can be said about this team. This 2008 title gives them their 5th SSBM team of the year championship in only 10 years of SSBM operation, that is quite an accomplishment. The team finished the year with 112 points in 5 events. They had a very strong year with a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and an 8th place finish. Mark and Millage won the heaviest bag of the year honours with their 13.09 LB bag weighed in during the Merser River event and also won the Weagle's Bakery Total Lunker of The Year race with a year end total of 15.08 LBS. To top it off, the team also won the years biggest fish honours with a giant 4.18lb smallie caught at the final tournament of the year on Mush-a-Mush lake. Mark and Millage finished ahead of some great anglers this year in SSBM including Peter Cook & John Ingram (2nd, 99pts) , Mike & Chreighton Myra (3rd, 86pts), former TOY winners Cody Lohnes & Rob Weagle (4th, 86pts), and another former TOY winner Tremayne Nauss & Jerome Croft (5th, 83pts).
