PINEAPPLE CREEK SUMMER BASH Ten Mile Lake #1 2006 - July 9th. The Pineapple Creek Summer Bash has been completed on Ten Mile Lake, the South Shore Bassmasters third stop on the trail. This lake is known to have its ups and downs which took the best of both for some anglers.The day started out overcast with little or no wind but would soon pick up to a breeze that held for the better part of the day. Not on many anglers agenda was the massive downpour of rain endured half-way through the tournament. This would take a hit on the fishing and the anglers! The water temperatures throughout the day would fluctuate between 72-75F. This day would see some better than average weights brought to the scales for Ten Mile. As always, we will give the well deserved recognition to the top 5 teams. Fifth place, was Scott Nickerson & Peter Ritchie with 6.20lbs. Fourth place, was the team of Eric White & Larry Murphy with 7lbs even. Grabbing third place with a very impressive bag was Tremayne Nauss & Jerome Croft with 9.14lbs. Breaking the ten pound barrier in second place was the team of Peter Lavender & Rob Mailman with 10.40lbs. The team also claimed the lunker with a 2.92lb smallie. This fish was 19.5", which was a tie breaker over the following teams biggest fish. Clyde Corbett & Gary Corbett took first honours in this years Ten Mile event with 10.72lbs, congratulations guys!
